My band needs some good recording software that records vocals,guitar,bass,drums,and we need like at least 8 tracks. We are a punk band so we need software that works with us in that genre.|||Try Audacity - it's free.|||Try USB mixer, like the Alesis MultiMX 12USB, that way you can premix all your instruments before you record to PC.

|||ha ha nice i was going to recommend the Alesis multimix firewire 16 but you more or less have set him down the right path! bought it recently! ******* dream come true for those in the home studio business! (and live recording!)
