I am planning to become a software engineer in the future and I was just wondering how much they make. I looked around a couple of sites and it ranged from 50k to 80k a year. I'm not sure how much you would really make. If you are a software engineer please tell me how much you make.
I was hoping to work for google, if that helps at all.|||I don't know about in Cali but generally right out of undergrad Comp Sci majors generally making about 60k their first year. And it only goes up!
You don't really make the big bucks until you have people doing the software engineering for YOU. :)
